Name:

u.s.s. voyager

Location:

deck 1

Plan:

breifing room

the crew members are usually seated during breifings, but often stand or walk around whan a heated debate is in progress.

Alone in the Delta Quadrant, the senior officers of the U.S.S. Voyager have many important decisions to make. Most of these are discussed in the breifing room.

On any Starfleet starship, a well equipped and private breifing room is essential. The captain and senior officers need a dedicated area, away from the rest of the crew, in which they can discuss orders without fear of interruption, make plans for forthcoming missions and and consider other points relating to the general running of the ship. For the U.S.S. Voyager, stranded in the Delta Quadrant thoudsands of light years away from the nearest representative of Starfleet command, such a room is especially important; the decisions that affect Voyager are made by the senior staff alone, with no one to advise them and no one to turn to when the going gets tough.

The main breifing room of the U.S.S. Voyager is located on deck 1, and connects directly to the ships main bridge via automatic sliding doors. It is also referred to as the conference room and is relatively small area, only slightly larger than its main item of furniture, a large breifing table surrounded by a number if formal chairs.
